Dia-noesis is now accepting submissions for Issue 17 dedicated to “The image of Woman in philosophy”: Women, Femininity and Female Identity. Suggested topics include: women philosophers and their work, views of femininity in philosophical texts, the philosophical dimension of female mysticism, philosophical aspects of female literature, gender theory and philosophy, the philosophical context of female cults. Submitted articles may refer to any historical period of human civilization. The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2025.

All articles submitted for possible publication are subjected to a double-blind, peer review process. Articles are first reviewed by editors. Moreover, the Issue will approve articles for publication by acknowledging as a criterion their originality and depth of analysis. More precisely: (A) Articles should be highly innovative and their objectives should be laid out clearly; (B) they should describe in sufficient detail the degree of innovation; (C) the state-of-the-art should be well documented with up-to-date references; (D) all authors should have a Ph.D. or should be in their final process of submitting their Doctoral thesis.
Ideally, papers should be between 5.000 – 10.000 words. They should be:
· Is carefully structured and written
· argumentative and not merely descriptive.
Furthermore, all papers must be in English. Submissions may be in the form of academic papers, and book reviews. Successful authors will be published in both the online and printed editions of the Journal. For more information consult the Author Guidelines.
