Dia-noesis – A Journal of Philosophy is a biannual scholarly publication issued under the auspices of the University of Western Macedonia (Greece). It is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal (available in both print and electronic formats) dedicated to the dissemination of original research in the fields of philosophy, political theory, history, political anthropology, the history of political thought and literature, religion, metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. The journal also accepts comprehensive book reviews by distinguished authors in these fields.
Dia-noesis invites original, unpublished papers from any area of philosophy or any application of philosophical methods to intellectual or practical life. The journal is committed to the highest ethical standards in research and academic publishing. Submissions are evaluated based on academic rigor, precision, conceptual clarity and cohesion, logical consistency, critical analysis, and originality. Articles with a non-Western focus are especially welcome.
Dia-noesis seeks to serve a diverse audience, including academic scholars in philosophy and political theory, as well as theologians, social scientists, anthropologists, historians, and others engaged in multidisciplinary studies within the humanities and social sciences.
Publishing in Dia-noesis is totally free of cost. Light editing services are being provided at no cost for the authors by the Editors of the journal. Users can download articles and issues free of charge through our website. Print versions are of high quality and can be bought via Ammon Books. The articles are printed in on premium paper with high-resolution figures. Our covers are customized to your article and designed to be complimentary to the journal.
